Workshops Exploring Male Mental Health
Mental health affects all of us, but there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ solution. So we want to offer men a space to explore various aspects of their mental health, through a mixture of creativity, play, exploration, self reflection, life skills and tools, to examine modern masculinity. Workshops will be held in the centre of Canterbury and will be easily accessible.
We focus on building connections, developing confidence and self expression. Participants will have the opportunity to be witnessed, the freedom to be open and discover in a safe and brave environment. Themes of the workshops may include, but won’t be limited to, exploring what it means to be a man, the challenges men face, where we find hope and how we show up for each other. There will also be practical sessions for aspects of day to day life, such as legal, financial and physical health advice.
Funding – Here’s Where We’d Love Your Help and Support
We need to raise £9,329 by the 21st August 2026.
Kent County Council Public Health Fund has generously offered to donate £5387, if we can raise that additional amount. We know we can do it, but we absolutely need your help and donations.
As we write this page on 11th July 2026, we have 42 days in which to raise £3000. Whatever you feel you could help with, will make a huge difference, when we launch the workshops in September 2026.
Please make your donations by clicking this link to the Spacehive donation collection website.
